The 'filament laser diode bulb', as a new kind of possible lighting source for our Areas of Light and Contact Zones.

To be more clear, there is not the intent to achieve a laser like device or to project a laser beam.
The goal is to achieve a light source, a lamp (a so much 'hated' bulb), using the advantages of the laser diodes.
Its light will be, if not diffuse, at least not so beamed.

If you are at least in an average knowledge, then think at the 'laser diode' and at the 'filament led bulb'.
Does any idea come to you?...

Research needed to be conducted...

  1. It seems what's holding back popular usage of laser diodes is heat. Would this new material help?

    1. At first glance, the material is in a too early stage to draw a conclusion about where will be suitable at best. Research must be conducted in specific applications.

On the other hand, it is described as heat insulator.
In the case you need to lose the heat from LEDs or laser diode, you most probable need the opposite, depending where you intend to use it.

    2. The bulb described above is not that supposed one you refer to in the previous post. From start it is not intent to beam. the multitude of beams resulting from the arrays are going to be dispersed or diffused, as the case may be.

    3. Yeah the question at

said about the effects of spreading or diffusing the beam.
