On this page you will find details of Outdoor Lighting Units (also known as Bracket-arm Street Lanterns) using the preferred numbers from sound frequency and natural shapes geometry.

A first design of an ellipsoidal (also known as Bracket-arm Street Lanterns) using the preferred numbers from natural shapes geometry is already in place above.

We also gave it hastily an amusing name: Ghaaagh… Enjoy it!

This is the most simple. It's intent to be an open (unclosed) lantern, without a lampshade or lens.

Other 'closed' ellipsoidal side-mounted lanterns are exposed below. Consider some of them, roughly, like the LV ellipsoidal ones, thus differences will be, not only in size:

Numbers of preferred frequencies are chosen for main dimensions: 432, 528, 174 (in millimeters),

The above 'unclosed' lantern may look somehow 'unstyled' or too 'edged', but the accent is given on shape and numbers, the ratio of length, width and height, so let see how it looks overall.

Ellipse, ellipsoids, are considered the shape of sound OM...

Would we then consider this a referred shape, before others?...

Other, more stylized, 'closed' (enclosed with lampshade/lens) ellipsoidal  and other size of side-mounted lanterns will come.

The same, preferred numbers will be used for as much details as the design will allow.

Here are some designs with dimensional details:

Notice!
Lens and lens' frame are the same for both the ellipsoidal enclosed lanterns (of 528mm), the tailed, and the break one.

NOTICE!
Optical reflectors are not part of design. A specialist in optics may try to design an optical reflector for the enclosed lanterns. To be taken in consideration that the lower part (the edge) of the reflector must counter seal the lens' edge on its upper part. The inner side of the lens may be also designed as an optical refractor.

More to come...

And, don't forget!... you can't design a man made object with only phi ratio for all, and among all, its component parts.

You have to choose much more.
